How it will start to work -- We will be adding a rotation of Augment rewards and 'Character upgrade' rewards (which consists of Mounts [Ch3] / Accessories [Ch2] / Pets [Ch1]) into the mix. Rune rewards will still exist but will be just one of three rotating reward types instead of the sole reward type.
Additionally - We're also bringing segmented rewards by tier to Guild events! This applies to Expedition and GvG, but only to the single-player rankings and points. Guilds will still compete with and against all the other guilds in the game.
How it used to work - Normally, each time the community advances a tier everyone's rewards at the end of the event will be increased.
How it will start to work - Each tier will now add a bonus to the event, for everyone! Bonuses would apply to everyone that plays Invasion, but please note that these bonuses apply only to Invasion.
Example - At Tier 6, you would traditionally receive double base rewards but with these changes, at Tier 6 everyone would now have 50% Item Find / 50% Experience / 50% Gold Find
We have made these changes to allow Invasion to be segmented, and to fit in the new Event reward schedule. We know that this doesn't solve all of the underlying problems of invasion, but stay tuned!
