In order to save, restore, and transfer progress across multiple devices or platforms, you must first link your game account to a Kongregate.com account. Doing so will also keep your account extra secure!
To link your mobile game progress to a Kongregate.com account, launch the Bit Heroes app and, once you reach the main town hub, select the red K in the bottom right corner. Select sign-in and enter your Kongregate username and password. Your game progress should now be saved to your Kongregate.com account.
To load your mobile game progress into the web version of Bit Heroes (on Kongregate.com), simply log into your Kongregate account and then navigate to the web version of Bit Heroes.
To load your game progress onto a new mobile device or after reinstalling the game, launch Bit Heroes and, once you reach the main town hub, select the red K in the bottom right corner. Select sign-in and enter your Kongregate username and password. Once you are signed in you should be prompted to either keep your new character or recover your previous character. Select your previous character.
To load your mobile or web progress into the Steam version of Bit Heroes, first, go to Kongregate.com and log into your account. It must be the same account that your mobile progress is saved to (see steps above).
Click on the ⚙ Settings button on the webpage to go to your Account Settings.
Click on the 'Link with STEAM' button and follow the prompts to link your Steam account to your Kongregate.com account.
Next, open Bit Heroes on Steam. The game may make you play through the introductory tutorial, but once you have made it through and are in town, click the red K in the menu. The game should load your Kongregate.com account and your save. If you run into any issues, please contacts us with your character name and Kongregate.com account name-- we should be able to fix it for you quickly!
I COULD NOT RECOVER MY CHARACTER
If you have any trouble recovering your character please reach out to support for assistance. Include the following information within your request:
- The name of the character you are trying to recover.
- If playing on mobile:
- The device model that your account was installed on.
- The name of the character currently on your device.
- Your Kongregate username. If you do not have a Kongregate account, you will need to create one.
- Email linked to your Kongregate account
- 5 familiars (monsters that join you in dungeons) you have on the account you're trying to recover
